HOLA & WELCOME
I think I don't need to formally introduce myself as my name is plastered across every page of this website. What I have included here is some of what I have done and what I'm doing currently, but what I haven't mentioned is how I got to this point.
I started life in Andalusia, Granada in Spain and migrated over to the UK when I was just a chubby little toddler. Growing up across England and Wales I learnt how to pass as being authentically British, but was never short of immersed diversity stemming from a huge array of internationals my parents were teaching during my upbringing.
What I pride myself on is having a worldly view and insight into culture. I have travelled extensively for both work and leisure, specifically with the intention to experience authenticity. What this has given me, is so precious and of such value that it only widens my perspective further.
However, my main links are with Spain, Thailand and Hong Kong as they are all places that have shaped me as a person and shaped my close family.
MY ARTïSTïC VïSïON & JOURNEY
As most creative people would tell you, it's in our blood. I have invested my time in many disciplines across the arts, Musical Theatre (from the age of 8 until 14), Illustrative art, Garment Design and of course Circus. I would call myself a multidisciplinary artist as I feel it best describes my work and where I spend most of time. I gain inspiration from absurdity and pondering thoughts, which I try to communicate in a medium that best suits. Not being bound to a specific art form allows for creativity to take precedence and gifts access to integration.
I am a big believer in constantly learning, there are always things to refine and discover. "Mistakes can only lead to constructive development," which is something that I live by. I do tend to throw myself in the deep end and work my up, instead of the latter, and what fuels that is my curiosity into the "what ifs."
In a nutshell, incubating within the arts (performing and visual) has shown me the need for innovation and alternate view points that people seek, and I intend to showcase that in any and all ways imaginable.
